This patent pending direct drive system eliminates the need for moving parts in the router itself, this means there are no belts to replace or gear drives to maintain! The direct drive system allows your grinder to deliver 100% of its power directly to the bit, there is no belt slippage which can cause a decreased spindle rpm while under load. The versatility of this tool will allow you to run the most popular electric angle grinders and polishers on the market as well as most pneumatic air grinders and polishers! This makes the power and spindle rpm range limited only to the power and variable speed range of dozens of commercially available pneumatic and electric wet polishers and angle grinders! Considerable emphasis is placed on the lubrication of the diamond tooling. Special water delivery jets are strategically placed within the hydro float base, these jets deliver an abundance of vital coolant directly to the entire diamond bit and grinding area. The hurricane router can also be coupled with a center water feed grinder or polisher to allow additional water delivery through diamond tools equipped with water deliver channels.
